About Allure Security

Founded in 2009 as a Columbia University spin-off, Allure Security began by developing file beacon technology through DARPA-funded research, a solution still used by the Department of Defense. In 2020, we shifted our focus to digital brand protection, applying our expertise to defend brands everywhere online.

In recent years, we rebuilt our platform around intelligence-driven, proactive protection. Most companies only learn about impersonation attacks after customers are affected or fraud has already occurred. We believe that’s too late. Our platform is designed to spot and stop threats at the earliest stages, often while attackers are still building infrastructure, testing phishing kits, or cloning your website content.

We continuously scan the internet, monitoring every newly registered and active domain, and analyze millions of web pages daily for the earliest signs of brand abuse. Our detection engine is powered by a proprietary archive of real-world scam data collected over more than a decade. This living dataset covers millions of phishing, impersonation, and disinformation campaigns, including many that existed only briefly before disappearing. With this foundation, our AI recognizes your brand even when attackers use old logos, partial branding, or subtle lookalikes.

Our platform ingests unfiltered threat intelligence, catching fake sites and impersonators before they become fully weaponized. It recognizes thousands of brands at once, detecting threats that slip past traditional, reactive solutions. By the time most vendors react, we’ve already neutralized the threat—often within minutes, not days.

Our detection system is multi-layered, combining specialized AI models, advanced context analysis, and expert human review. We also use patented decoy technology that floods phishing sites with fake credentials, making stolen data worthless and disrupting attacker operations.
